Project: Henry Ford Museum – Heroes of Flight Exhibit

The new exhibit at the museum highlights stories from the first forty years of aviation. The exhibit includes 7 themed areas and features 15 historic airplanes that highlight the accomplishments of America’s pioneering aviators. The most notable aircraft is a Douglas DC-3 with a 95 foot wingspan suspended from above at the exhibit’s main entry.
