O’Neal Construction provided Construction Management Services for the construction of University Commons. The development is a senior residential community for faculty, staff and alumni of the University of Michigan. The Project is located on an 18-acre site and provides over 250,000 total square feet of living and community area. The site is heavily wooded and provides nature-walking trails. Senior learning and cultural activities are held in the 17,000 square foot community space within Houghton Hall. Shared facilities include classrooms, library/media center, fitness suite, dining/recital hall, and numerous other multi-purpose spaces for music, art and study.
